Community participation and stakeholder engagement are of utmost importance to EMPower. This has been at the forefront of all activities throughout the development process for this proposed Dyrick Hill project.

The objectives of our community consultation process are to;

• Provide accurate information to all sections of the local community;

• Contribute to the collection and sharing of information related to the potential environmental, economic and social effects of the project;

• Ensure that EMPower understands the views of the local community so that they can be considered during the development process;

• Identify and grow a list of interested stakeholders and local organisations that EMPower will proactively consult with.

Our consultation process was conducted through stakeholder meetings, public briefings, direct communication (email, letters), advertising and online webinars. In addition, information was regularly updated on this website.
